Frequently Asked Questions

Please see below for answers to the most common questions about the Iftar Initiative.

1) What is the Iftar Initiative?

The Iftar Initiative is a grassroots movement to spread goodwill, foster positive community relations and celebrate the universal concept of brotherhood through the sharing of food during the month of Ramadan.

2) Can anyone sign up to this?

Yes! We want everyone to get involved. The more people we have preaching positive news, the more chances of strengthening our understanding of one another. Positivity leads to more positivity.

3) Is this a business-only initiative?

We are starting this as a business-only initiative. We hope the movement will then extend to, and be taken up by local and community organisations everywhere.

4) Is there a cost?

Yes. However, the cost will be borne by the business community only and not the general public. This is to cover the costs of the PR & Marketing campaign we will be launching to support the initiative. Please check the partner signup page for up-to-date prices, special offers and promotions.

5) How does one sign up, and how will it work?

Consumers: find a restaurant or food service establishment within your local vicinity and register your interest through the site. We will be shortlisting guests according to the allocated numbers per establishment. Invitations will be confirmed and sent out to those that are successful.

Businesses: please use the signup form using the form using the navigation link above and we will be in touch to confirm your involvement and create your profile across the site and social media outlets.
